I’m reblogging to make a point. What kind of people get the most national attention when they go missing? see above.
What kind of people get little to no attention, not even on a local level? I’m not even going to say it.
This sucks, but there’s a greater injustice here.
Unfortunately reports have just come out that her body has been found. :[

Its really sad about this girl but i want to make a point about what that other person said. There is a reason the type of people who show up on these posters tend to be cute girls.. cause cute young girls tend to be the majkority of the folks that go missing. If you look at the missing posters in my local store you will notice that most of them are girls between 8-25. On that same note they also show young boys… young people get the most attention because they are helpless. It is true that poor kids that go missing dont get the same publicity but thats because their parents dont go to the right recources… cause they are poor.. its sad but true. Also they occasionally feel guilt for it and are less likely to do something. While pretty young rich girl families have money and therefore can buy time and recources.. its just the way things are. They actually bother to go to the news, they pay for the copies of paper, for adtime, and know where to go to post about missing people.. and how to do it professionally. Dont get all boo-hoo about it… its just facts based on what help is at your fingertips, being able to use it and understanding what to do.
